The chip in a biometric passport allows for digital identity verification — a non-chip passport cannot be used for this process. If you don't have a biometric passport yet, we recommend applying for one before proceeding.

How long does the whole process take?

Companies House typically approves online applications within 24–48 hours. Your documents, address, and phone number are ready within 2–5 days. Banking setup takes 1–5 days. You should be fully eBay-ready within 5–10 days of starting. The UTR from HMRC arrives separately within 2–6 weeks.

Can I use this UK LTD for Amazon as well?

Yes. A UK LTD is fully compatible with Amazon UK and Amazon EU seller accounts. We register the company with SIC code 47910 (Retail sale via internet) which is accepted by both eBay and Amazon. The UK bank account (Wise/Tide) can receive payouts from both platforms.

What happens after 12 months — the address and phone renewal?
